Mining Methods and Processes for Atypical Ore Bodies in Xikuangshan Antimony Mine
Xikuangshan antimony ore body belongs to a typical gently inclined layered medium thick type of ore body.During mining,filling method and open field room pillar method need to be used respectively based on the ore body's occurrence,ore grade,and surface subsidence conditions.As mining deepens,the ore body tends to tilt from gentle,and from thick to thin,and the height of the middle section is also changed from 36 m to 50 m.Relying solely on filling method and open field room pillar method is no longer suitable for the needs of ore body changes.This paper focused on the experimental research of pillar mortar filling mining method,wall filling(water pressure pillar roof protection)mining method,and inclined(steeply inclined)thin ore body upward continuous mining method for different forms of ore bodies,meeting meet the mining requirements of the ore body.
