Early Warning Methods for Coal Mine Water Inrush Disasters Based on Microseismic Monitoring Technology
In order to reduce the safety risks caused by coal mine water inrush disasters,a coal mine water inrush warning system was designed using micro-seismic monitoring technology, which uses seismic detectors as sensors in the system. The system was used to monitor Shunxun Coal Mine, and the results showed that a total of 193 micro-seismic events occurred during the monitoring period.Among them, there were 6 times when the energy released by micro-seismic events exceeded 1 000 J.The maximum energy released by a single microseismic event was 2 455 J,which is much smaller than the maximum energy released by microseismic events near the working face. The vast majority of micro-seismic events occurred within 12 m below the floor. The test results indicate that micro-seismic monitoring technology can effectively monitor micro-seismic events caused by water inrush in coal mines and provide corresponding warning information.
