Mine Personnel Positioning System Based on UWB Technology
In the process of coal mining, the application of underground personnel positioning system can effectively improve the safety of the mine.Based on this, the basic principles of UWB technology(carrier free communication technology)and personnel positioning were first explained. Then, the framework of the positioning system was analyzed, which mainly consists of underground and ground parts. The former is responsible for collecting personnel tag information, while the latter uses internal algorithms to calculate tag coordinates.Secondly, the hardware structure and settings of personnel tags and positioning base stations were studied. The hardware structures of the two are similar, with the main control chip and wireless signal transceiver chip being STM 32 and DW 1000,respectively.Finally,experiments were conducted on the operational effectiveness of the system, and the results showed that the positioning error of personnel was less than 1 m,which is beneficial for improving the safety of underground personnel operations.
