Optimization of Tensioning Device for Belt Conveyor
Providing a certain tension to the conveyor belt is one of the key factors to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of long-distance conveyor belts.Taking DSJ 160/350/3×500 belt conveyor in the 2205 transportation roadway as the research object,this paper proposed to construct a frequency conversion automatic tensioning device to replace the original heavy hammer tensioning device,so as to improve tensioning efficiency and reduce the occurrence rate of belt conveyor operation failures.The frequency conversion automatic tensioning device uses a tension sensor to obtain real-time tension of the conveyor belt,and ensures that the tension of the conveyor belt is always within the ideal range through PID control.At the same time,the mechanical composition and electrical control system are selected and analyzed in detail.After engineering application,the frequency conversion automatic tensioning device constructed operates reliably,and has significant effects in improving the reliability of belt conveyor operation,reducing the occurrence rate of faults,and maintenance investment.At the same time,it also improves the level of automation of the mine transportation system to a certain extent.
