Surrounding Rock Control Technology for Gob Side Entry Driving with Small Coal Pillars in Thick Coal Seam
The 15#coal seam in Chengzhuang Coal Mine originally used 25-30 m large coal pillars to protect the roadway, which was difficult to maintain due to high dynamic pressure and severe resource waste.Taking the 15308 fully-mechanized top coal caving face as the engineering background, the optimal size of the small coal pillar support roadway was determined to be 6 m through theoretical calculations, engineering analogies and other methods.By using blasting to cut the roof, optimizing the roadway support parameters, and cooperating with grouting reinforcement, spraying, and pressure relief grooves, the gob side entry driving with small coal pillars was achieved, which not only reduced the impact of dynamic pressure on the roadway in the goaf, but also reduced the waste of coal resources and extended the service life of the mine.
