Reservoir Control Factors of T1j12 Subsegment in Wushankan Block
There is a great potential for oil and gas resources in the lower Triassic series T1j12 subsegment of the Wushankan block in the eastern part of Sichuan.Through research on the sedimentation, reservoir characteristics, and control factors of the T1j12 subsegment,it is shown that the Wushankan block is located on a limited platform within a point beach, affected by strong hydrodynamic forces, having the foundation for reservoir formation and evolution. The reservoir rocks in the T1j12 subsegment are mainly composed of mud-fine powder crystal dolomite and coarse powder crystal dolomite, microscopic dissolution pores and crack development.Due to the fact that the gas well in this area is located at the top of the structure, strong dissolution in the later stage resulted in the formation of certain dissolution pores in the dolomite, the fractures formed by tectonic transformation are the main channels for oil and gas seepage in reservoirs. Therefore,in the process of formation and evolution of reservoirs in the T1j12 subsegment of the Wushankan block, point beach is a favorable sedimentary environment for the development of reservoirs;dolomitization and dissolution control the development of reservoir pores;tectonism improves the permeability of the reservoir, the reservoir has a trend of distribution along structural highs and axes.
