Influence of Tectonic Evolution of Meso-Cenozoic Basins in Northern China on Sandstone Type Uranium Mineralization
By analyzing the tectonic evolution characteristics of the Meso-Cenozoic basins in northern China, the impact of tectonic evolution on the sedimentary strata and internal structures of the basins was studied.Taking the Mengqigul uranium deposit in the Ili Basin and the Daqing Changyuan uranium deposit in the Songliao Basin as examples,it was illustrated that basin tectonic evolution was a prerequisite for the formation of uranium rich sedimentary structures, and also a necessary condition for later superimposed enrichment. It revealed that in the future, research on basin tectonic evolution should be strengthened, and target horizons and favorable mineralization locations should be identified through structural transformation and evolution characteristics.
