Frequency Joint Control Based on Wind Farm-Energy Storage System
The output power of wind turbines is subject to irregular fluctuations due to environmental influences. This necessitates reserve capacity for frequency regulation in the power system, thereby increasing the frequency regulation costs and weakening the grid's inertia, which in turn reduces the stability of the power grid system.A low-frequency control method based on the linear correlation between active power and frequency was proposed.By simulating the speed regulation system of conventional units and using the rated capacity of the energy storage system to adjust active power, the method can ensure the stability of system frequency, optimizing the capacity of the energy storage system, and improve the power generation efficiency of wind farms, thereby achieving better economic benefits.
