The influence of strata behaviors and ventilation on gas emission in fully mechanized caving face of coal mines was discussed.By analyzing the geological conditions and ventilation system of fully mechanized caving face, the regulation mechanism of strata behaviors and ventilation on gas emission characteristics was revealed. It is found that the strata behavior of fully mechanized caving face is closely related to the arrangement of ventilation system, which directly affects the intensity and rate of gas emission.Through the in-depth study of gas emission characteristics, the influence mechanism of strata behaviors and ventilation on gas emission was revealed. The study provided theoretical support for optimizing the design of fully mechanized caving surface, improving the ventilation effect, and reducing the risk of gas emission. In the future, the coal mine production safety management system can be further improved by digging the relationship between ventilation system and gas emission.
