In 2021,China declared that absolute poverty had been eliminated,anti-poverty gov-ernance had shifted to relative poverty,and the management of poor students in higher vocational colleges was facing new difficulties and challenges.This paper expounds the actual shortcomings of the management of relatively poor students in higher vocational colleges,analyzes the professional advantages of social work intervention in the management of relatively poor students in higher voca-tional colleges,and then puts forward action paths such as the identification of needs of relatively poor students involved in social work intervention,personality assistance of relatively poor students involved in social work intervention,and effectiveness evaluation of management of relatively poor students involved in social work intervention.Effectively solve the shortcomings of administrative mechanization of poor students in higher vocational colleges,and help relatively poor students to become healthy.
