Shaanbei folk songs are treasures in the treasure trove of Chinese folk songs,and it pos-sesses unique artistic characteristics and cultural connotations.The inheritance of Shaanbei folk songs in vocal teaching for vocational colleges is of great significance for promoting ethnic culture,enriching vocal teaching content,and promoting local cultural development.In this article,basing on the necessity and feasibility of inheriting Shaanbei folk songs in vocal teaching for vocational colleges,some strategies are proposed,such as optimizing curriculum design,innovating teaching methods,and strengthening teacher training,which provides reference for inheriting and promoting Shaanbei folk songs.
