A Research on Value Creation of New-Quality Productive Forces Driven by Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing Industry
To foster the thorough integration of artificial intelligence with the real economy, and promote the formation of new-quality productive forces and the improvement of value creation capabilities of manufacturing in-dustries empowered by artificial intelligence, based on inter-provincial panel data, this paper uses the entropy method to measure the development of artificial intelligence and the value creation level of new-quality productivity in manufacturing industry in 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2022,and constructs a fixed effect model and a panel threshold regression model to empirically test the impact effect and characteristics of the value creation of new-quality productivity in the manufacturing industry empowered by artificial intelligence. The theoretical analysis shows that artificial intelligence drives the elementalization and intelligence of data, promotes the digital and intelli-gent transformation of enterprises, and empowers the value creation of new-quality productivity in the manufacturing industry through cost reduction and efficiency increase, intelligent decision-making,model innovation, and busi-ness integration. The empirical test finds that artificial intelligence can significantly improve the value creation level of new-quality productivity in the manufacturing industry, and its impact effect is nonlinear.Among the three eche-lons of artificial intelligence industry development, the driving effect on the first echelon regions(Beijing,Shang-hai,Guangdong,Zhejiang and Jiangsu)is the strongest while the promotion effect on the second and third echelon regions is not obvious.Based on this,it is necessary to further cultivate and develop the artificial intelligence in-dustry,build an innovative and intelligent ecosystem for manufacturing in the Al era,and establish a standardized and perfect market supervision and security system to empower the value creation of new-quality productivity in the manufacturing industry.
