Growth of Perturbation in Convection for Binary Fluid Mixture
By using the numerical simulations of the two-dimensional full perturbation equations of hydrodynamics, the growth of perturbation in Rayleigh-Benard convection in the binary fluid mixture was studied. It is found that the growth rate of perturbation in linear stage is function of relative Rayleigh number r. The transition from linear stage to nonlinear regime has three types of patterns.
