A Study on Influence of the Bypass Heat Storage on the Peak Shaving Capacity of the Condensing Unit
In order to study the influence of the molten salt heat storage technology on the peak shaving capacity of the condensing unit,a 660MW supercritical condensing unit is taken as an example in this paper.Using LMPS Ⅱ as the heat storage medium,the heat storage system is combined with the turbine bypass system to construct three bypass heat storage schemes.The EBSILON software is used to establish the simulation model of the system to study the changes of the peak shaving capacity and its compensation of the condensing unit after the molten salt heat storage is adopted.The results show that the whole bypass heat storage scheme can minimize the power generation load rate of the unit.Under the same heat storage duration,the low-pressure bypass heat storage scheme has the longest peak heat release operation time.Taking a 30%power generation load rate as the initial heat storage condition,the peak shaving capacity of the bypass thermal storage scheme increases by approximately 3.21%-6.42%.When the power generation load rate is low at the initial condition of heat storage,the peak shaving capacity compensation of the unit is relatively large.
