An Analysis of the Static Transmission Power Limit of Converters with Droop Characteristics Taken into Account
The static transmission power limit of the converter is analyzed with the droop characteristics taken into account in this paper.First, the approximate analytical solution of the static transmission power limit of the inverter considering droop control is derived.Second,a configuration method of the reactive power compensation device at the common connection point is proposed. On this basis, considering the capacity limitation of the converter as a power electronic device, and combined with the voltage change of the AC system, the stable operation boundary of the new energy grid-connected converter considering the droop characteristics is analyzed. Finally, the influence of AC system voltage, reactive power reference value, droop coefficient and reactive power compensation device capacity on the transmission power limit of the converter is explored.
