Research and Application of the New Strategy of Proactive Cable Maintenance Based on Fuzzy Evaluation
In response to the issue that cables normally have a large number and their limited maintenance coverage capabilities are limited,a new proactive maintenance strategy for cable insulation status based on fuzzy evaluation is studied.The correlation between operating years,laying methods,load types,and lengths with the cable insulation status is assessed using sensitivity coefficients and influence degrees as indicators;information entropy is used to quantify the degree of disorder in the system,and a weight coefficient allocation method based on the mutual information method is constructed to obtain an index for evaluating the urgency of maintenance;the credibility of the multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is confirmed through a typical application case of a faulty cable.The actual application results show that the proposed method can objectively evaluate the insulation status of cables,providing a reference basis for the urgency of cable maintenance.
