A Study on the Development Patterns of Clean Energy in China and Evaluation of Its Coordinated Development with the Economic System
The development of the clean energy industry is one of the fundamental measures to achieve a low-carbon economy and realize the"dual carbon"goals. To address the current lack of clarity regarding the intrinsic relationship and coordinated development characteristics between China's clean energy and economic systems,an evaluation indicator system for clean energy and economic system development is established.A comprehensive evaluation model, along with a coupling coordination degree model,is constructed to analyze clean energy and economic development.Using statistical data from 2014 to 2022,quantitative analyses are conducted from both temporal and spatial perspectives. The results indicate an overall upward trend in the development levels of clean energy systems and economic systems across provinces, despite some fluctuations. In terms of coupling coordination, the degree of coordination among provinces has also shown an upward trend since 2020,though differences remain. The role of clean energy in promoting economic growth is continuously strengthening, and economic development is gradually shifting toward low-carbon transformation. To transition towards a higher level of coordination between the clean energy and economic systems in the future, bit is necessary to increase clean energy consumption, actively develop energy storage and clean energy dispatch technologies, and enhance the central role of clean energy in the carbon market.
