Stucking Phenomenon Analysis and Application of Freeing Technology in Double Shield TBM Crossing Faults
TBM has poor adaptability to unfavorable geological surrounding rocks.When crossing fault zones,the machine may get stuck.Dealing with this situation is time-consuming and labor-intensive,and is one of the main factors affecting the rapid excavation of TBM.The stucking process,geological conditions,causes,freeing measures and processes,as well as measures taken after freeing of the double shield TBM crossing the F14 fault in the 11th bid of the Dongshan Water Supply Project were detailed introduced and summarized,which can provide reference for similar projects.
