To enhance the water source conservation capacity of the reservoir area,effectively control soil erosion,and protect and improve the ecological environment of the reservoir area while considering the landscape function,a series of biological measures can be taken,and necessary forest transformation can be carried out.The basic principles and specific goals of the water conservation forest transformation design in Baipenzhu Reservoir were elaborated.Based on the principle of prioritizing ecological functions,specific forest transformation measures were proposed from the aspects of project zoning,forest land transformation,tree species selection,and seedling planting,in order to provide reference basis for the design of such projects.
