Since its operation,Huainan Irrigation District has experienced aging and disrepair of irrigation channels,severe leakage and damage,high water consumption,and the current engineering situation cannot meet the requirements of regional agricultural development.Therefore,it is urgent to do a good job in the water-saving transformation of irrigation areas,repair management facilities,and promote the expected benefits of irrigation areas.The engineering layout analysis and design of the headworks,channels,pipelines,and regulating reservoirs in Huainan Irrigation District provide reference for similar irrigation district engineering designs.
