The rationality of planning for cross river projects involving highways or railways is related to the difficulty of investment,coordination,construction,and management,as well as the smooth progress of the project.In the situation where highway bridge piers are difficult to avoid river,based on the principle of embankment layout,combined with factors such as river flow conditions and coordination difficulty,the principle of less or no land acquisition is adhered to.Under the premise of ensuring the flood discharge capacity of the river,different embankment lines and section types of the river are compared and the optimal design scheme is proposed,providing reference for similar projects.
