Solving the problem of frequent floods and disasters in plain depressions is the most concerned,direct and realistic livelihood issue for the people.Taking Wenhe River(K9+120～13+950)in Lanling County,Shandong Province as an example,the drainage planning and design scheme of Wenhe River through hydrological and hydraulic calculation,river section design and culvert design were determined,providing reference for drainage planning and design in plain and depression areas.
