Research on the Decrease of Flood Peak Flow in the Upper Reaches of the Fenhe River
River water regimen information provides the most basic data for flood control and disaster reduction, water resource management and protection, and river basin safety, and is the soul of hydrological work. This study selected the Jingle to Hecha river channel in the upper reaches of the Fenhe River Basin as the research object, and used two methods, the Muskingen method and flow decrease analysis method,to analyze the propagation and decrease amplitude of flood peaks in this interval. The results show that among the 9 selected floods in the Jingle to Hecha section, the relative errors of peak decrease calculated by Muskingen and flow decrease analysis methods are 0.22 and 0.25,respectively,and the results obtained by the two methods are relatively close. The study can provide a certain reference for monitoring the water regime, flood control and disaster reduction, and water resource development and utilization in the upper reaches of the Fenhe River Basin.
