Drought warning water level is an important index to take relevant measures to start the emergency response to drought.In order to improve the drought resistance ability of Hengshan District and promote Hekoumiao Reservoir to give full play to its benefits in drought resistance,based on the general situation of Hekoumiao Reservoir and the analysis of the water transmission and distribution of the reservoir,the water supply amount of Hekoumiao Reservoir was discussed by using the representative year method.The drought warning water level of Hekoumiao Reservoir has been determined to be 1137.9m,providing a reference for determining the drought warning water level of similar reservoirs in the Loess Plateau region.
