Problems and Countermeasures in the Rectification of Groundwater Level Decline:A Case Study of Xinhu Town,Mulei County
The total amount of water resources in Mulei County is scarce,and the groundwater in the entire area is overexploited.This study started with a"small incision"and took Xinhu Town in Mulei County as an example to summarize the current measures for controlling the decline of groundwater level in Xinhu Town.Combined with practical work,the existing problems were systematically analyzed,and countermeasures and suggestions for controlling groundwater over exploitation were proposed from seven aspects:precise control of groundwater,compatibility with arable land resources,strengthening departmental coordination and linkage,and providing subsidies for fallow land.These countermeasures and suggestions could provide references for groundwater management and protection in Mulei County.
