The Yellow River Basin is not only the main barrier to China's ecological security,but also a key region in economic transformation and development.The ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin have become a nation-al strategy,playing an important role in the new journey of China's modernization construction.The paper puts forward a practical ap-proach to promoting ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin in Shaanxi from six aspects:following regulations and rules,prioritizing protection,enhancing water and soil capacity,improving barrier measures,establishing cooperation mechanism,and highlighting its own characteristics.
