In the early 1950s,the knowledge system of the discipline of the CPC's History was basically formed.One of important symbols is the historical narrative on the founding of the CPC,the periodization of the CPC's history,and the themes and main lines of the CPC's history are basically set.The narrative"The CPC is an inevitable product of the combination of Marxism and the Chinese labour movement"clarifies the historical inevitability of the founding of the CPC;the periodization"the Great Revolution,the Agrarian Revolution,the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,and the War of Liberation"reflects the stage-by-stage characteristics of the New-democratic Revolution;and the narrative"opposing imperialism and feudalism,and seeking national independence and the people's liberation"highlights the CPC's historical tasks of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.These aspects constitute the basic framework of the knowledge system of the CPC's History in the period of New-democratic Revolution and influence the later compilation of CPC's history.The knowledge system of the CPC's History is gradually formed as the CPC continued to review and summarize its own history,and it is a product of the CPC's revolutionary practice and theoretical exploration.
