江绍原与蔡元培交往考述——以民俗学的追求为视点

摘要
作为"五四后"知识分子的江绍原,经历了从北京大学旁听生到民俗学者的身份转变,他以自己的路径选择彰显出北大新一代学人的成长.通过梳理江绍原在求学和治学历程中与蔡元培的交往史料,探寻他在世易时移中如何开展对民俗学者的身份寻求与自我形塑.在 20 世纪上半期中国从传统到现代的社会转型中,以对民俗学在中国的倡导与追求为切入点,透视江绍原与蔡元培的交往,可以发现两人间的交游体现出了北京大学两代学人在身份认同与治学理念上的共通之处.
Abstract
Jiang Shaoyuan,as an intellectual in the era of post-May Fourth New Culture Movement,experi-enced a transformation of identity from an auditor at Peking University to a folklorist.His choice of path demonstrated the growth of a new generation of scholars at Peking University.Through the analysis of his-torical materials about Jiang Shaoyuan's interaction with Cai Yuanpei during his studies and academic ca-reer,this study explores how he pursued identity and self-formation in the time changing.During the social transformation from traditional to modern China in the first half of the 20th century,Jiang Shaoyuan's in-teraction with Cai Yuanpei also,from the perspective of promotion and pursuit of folklores in China,re-flected the commonalities between the two generations of scholars at Peking University in terms of identity recognition and academic philosophy.
