Objective To explore the difference of anesthesia protocol selection in patients with painless gastroen-teroscopy.Methods A total of 62 patients who received painless gastroenteroscopy in our hospital were included in this study. The selected cases were completed from May 2021 to October 2022.They were randomly divided into two groups. In one group,3 1 patients received propofol for anesthesia(the control group). One group of 31 patients was anesthetized with propofol combined with dexmedetomidine(the observation group). Both groups were observed until the end of the examination. The quality of anesthesia, systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),heart rate(HR),oxygen saturation(SpO2),mean arterial pressure(MAP)before and after examination and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, patients of the observation group had better anesthesia quality.Compared with before examination, after ex-amination,the levels of SBP,DBP,SPO2 and MAP of two groups showed a decreasing trend, but the observation group was higher than the control group, and the HR showed an increasing trend, but the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine combined with propofol can improve the vital signs of patients undergoing painless gastroenteroscopy, improve the quality of anesthesia, and have higher safety.
