Study on Erfurt Program Commentary Published During the Founding Period of the Communist Party of China
Among the batch of Marxist works published during the founding period of the Communist Party of China(CPC),Chen Wangdao's translation of The Communist Manifesto,Yun Daiying's translation of The Class Struggle(the original title of the book is The Interpretation of the Erfurt Program),and Li Ji's translation of The History of Socialism are the most representative, which played an important role in the growth of a group of party founders, such as Mao Zedong, into Marxists. The Interpretation of the Erfurt Program, written by Kautsky,is particularly important. It raised the political consciousness of the Chinese Communists and made them realize that class struggle was necessary for the transformation of China;it deepened the understanding of the Chinese Communists of the class struggle, and enabled them to propose a reasonable strategy of struggle and note the important role of the peasants;and,of course,it also to a certain extent brought about the problem of private ownership faced by the People's Republic of China after its founding.
