Osmotic pressure is an important knowledge point in medical basic chemistry for its theoretical significance and application in clinical practice.Due to the abstractiveness and complexity of the concepts,students find it difficult to understand and apply the knowledge point of osmotic pressure.Based on teaching practice and cases,the article explores different comparative strategies of com-parison,opposition analysis,and contrast to facilitate the understanding of osmotic pressure.Critical thinking,innovative awareness,and problem-solving abilities can thus be developed in medical students.
