Teaching practice in physiology based on curriculum integration theory
Physiology is the backbone course of medical education,posing a challenge for students due to its high systematicness,logicality,and practicality.The teaching content has been updated quickly and some concepts are abstract,particularly in the case of the two chapters of nervous system function and sensory organs'function.In order to improve the teaching effect,the authors divided the two chapters into six sections,and adopted diverse methods,including ideological and political education,virtuality-reality combi-nation experiments,and integrated teaching of basic and clinical sciences.Formative assessments were also used to improve learning outcomes.
