Application of disciplinary mind maps under the background of New Medicine
Under the background of"New Medicine",more importance has been attached to knowledge renewal and cross-integra-tion in the cultivation of medical students.Since medical courses are relatively abstract and have numerous knowledge points,students need some scientific thinking skills to summarize,understand,and remember.Mind mapping features hierarchical structures and picto-rial combination,and it can be used to deconstruct,construct,and reconstruct knowledge systems of different disciplines,facilitating the internalization and connection of professional knowledge.The introduction of mind mapping in the teaching of medical courses can help students understand and memorize the theories and knowledge points and then construct a complete knowledge system of a given discipline.Mind mapping is an effective technique in visualized thinking teaching,for it can develop logical thinking,innovative think-ing,and autonomous learning ability in the students.Based on the teaching practice in medical courses,this paper introduces the ap-plication advantages and basic models of mind mapping in medical teaching,and takes the chapter of"Kidney histology and physiolo-gy"as an example to illustrate the key points and application scenarios of making mind maps,providing a reference for similar teaching reforms in medical courses.
