In order to meet the requirements of the era of personalized healthcare,medical students need to master the knowledge of medical genetics.Since the single classroom teaching mode has its limitations,teachers need to integrate it with other teaching modes to improve teaching effect.Taking the teaching of Hemoglobinopathies as an example,this article explores the online and offline blen-ded teaching mode based on CBL in"5+3"clinical medical students of Year 2020.In order to implement CBL teaching smoothly,the teachers arranged online autonomous learning and adopted offline PAD(Presentation,Assimilation,and Discussion)Class.The au-thors conducted a survey and a final examination,and the statistics show that students are satisfied with the teaching and their perform-ance is good,but the teaching design needs to be optimized to improve the effect of teaching and learning.The CBL-based blended teaching mode can help students to develop autonomous learning ability,cultivate clinical thinking,and improve comprehensive appli-cation ability.
