Neurobiology is a vital discipline that examines the nervous system and its functions;however, there are problems of out-dated teaching content and the lack of diversity in teaching methods. These problems lead to the students'demotivation and insufficient practical ability, underscoring the urgent need for teaching reform to enhance student interest and abilities.Previous research shows that multimedia technology can improve students'understanding of complex concepts with rich visual and audio stimuli, and then im-prove their interest in learning.Therefore,multimedia-assisted instruction is supposed to significantly boost student performance and participation, and a variety of educational activities will be conducted to assess their knowledge acquisition and skill enhancement. This research proposal intends to investigate the effects of multimedia technology in neurobiology education, with an emphasis on its impact on student learning outcomes, aiming to provide a reference for teaching reform in neurobiology and other disciplines.
