Effect of four biological skin dressings for treating patients with deep Ⅱ degree burn wounds
Objective To compare the clinical effects of four biological dressings to treat patients with deep Ⅱ degree burn wounds. Methods Two hundred and ten patients with deep Ⅱ degree burn wounds who were treated in our hospital from January 2012 to January 2022 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into 5 groups.Forty-two patients were in each group.Foam dressing, negative pressure device, nano silver, and irradiated pig skin were respectively used as the test group, and silver sulfadiazine was used as the control group. The frequency of dressing changes, wound healing time, secondary trauma score, pain score, incidence of autologous skin grafting, and scar in each group were observed. Results The number of dressing changes on the four biological dressing wounds was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The wound healing time of foam dressing and negative pressure drainage device was significantly shortened(P<0.05).The four test groups'pain scores were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The secondary trauma score, the incidence of secondary skin grafting, and the scar in the foam dressing and negative pressure device groups were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Four biological dressings have obvious advantages over traditional treatments in the treatment of deep Ⅱ degree burn wounds.Foam dressing and negative pressure devices can effectively promote the healing of deep Ⅱ degree burn wounds and reduce the wound infection rate.
