Analysis of the curative effect of Type Ⅰ tympanoplasty with different materials
Objective To analyze the effect of type Ⅰ tympanoplasty with different materials. Methods A total of 100 patients with tympanic membrane perforation of chronic suppurative otitis media collected in our hospital from June 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects and were divided into trago-perichondrium(control group)and chondro-perichondrium flap complex(study group)by random double-blind method, with 50 cases in each group.Endotympanoplasty was performed to observe and compare postoperative healing, hearing effect and tympanogram curve of the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the general information of age, gender, and duration of disease between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in operation time and tragus healing time between the two groups(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, primary healing accounted for a greater proportion of tympanic membrane healing in the study group(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in bone conduction threshold, air conduction threshold and air bone conduction between 2 groups(P<0.05).After treatment, compared with the control group, the threshold of air conduction and the difference in air-bone conduction were smaller in the study group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, tympanic curve type A was more in the study group, followed by type C(P<0.05).Conclusion Chondro-perichondrium flap complex can improve postoperative hearing better, and the rate of primary healing is also higher. Therefore,it is worthy of further promotion and application in clinical practice.
