Efficacy of blue light combined with Clostridium butyricum dual active bacterial powder in 180 cases with neonatal pathological jaundice
Objective To analyze the effect of blue light combined with Clostridium butyricum dual active bacterial powder on promoting jaundice resolution in newborns with pathological jaundice. Methods One hundred and eighty children with pathological jaundice treated in our hospital from January 2018 to June 2023 were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method. The control group received blue light therapy, while the observation group received blue light combined with Clostridium butyricum bifidum powder treatment. The clinical efficacy, transcutaneous jaundice index(TCB),total bilirubin(TBiL),and direct bilirubin(DBiL)levels before and after treatment were compared, and the treatment and rehabilitation time as well as adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results Comparison of clinical efficacy showed that the observation group had a higher clinical total response rate(P<0.05).TCB,TBiL and DBiL of the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),the treatment and rehabilitation time, the time of blue light treatment, fetal emptying, jaundice withdrawal and hospitalization were shorter(P<0.05).The difference of the overall incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups was not statistical(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of blue light and Clostridium tysidius in children with neonatal pathological jaundice can promote the remission, reduce bilirubin level, shorten the treatment and rehabilitation time of children, and have high safety.
