Research progress of neutrophil extracellular traps in the development and prognosis of glioma
Neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs)are a sort of fibrous reticular structure released by neutrophils into the extracellular space under the action of various stimulating factors.The formation process of NETs is also called neutrophil inflammatory apoptosis(NETosis).In recent years,studies have found that NETs phenomenon exists in tumor patients and animal models.NETs not only participate in the development of body diseases,but also participate in the proliferation,metastasis and prognosis of tumors.Current studies have shown that NETs also play an important role in glioma progression.This article reviews the formation and function of NETs and its role in tumor and its re-search progress in the development and prognosis of glioma.
