"Three-Dimensional Discourse":An Ethnographic Paradigm Highlighting Marginal Forms
Ethnography is a paradigm of practice and research in anthropology, and its changes and shifts reflect the transformation of anthropology in different historical context. In classical times, anthropology emphasized on human's primitive life, making primitive(wild)ethnography a repre-sentative paradigm.Modern ethnography features the scientific approach with its camera-like method to record facts objectively.Hermeneutic anthropology, also known as experimental ethnography,is marked by unleashing the researchers'subjectivity and has gained predominate position in the last dec-ades.In recent years,a new anthropological paradigm has emerged."Multispecies ethnography",as a brand-new approach and in the face of the crisis of"ecology-bio-life"in the world today, aims to build an ethnographic paradigm with"three-dimensional discourse"as the focus, thus highlighting as a result the value of marginal existence.
