The urban community is a basic unit in both social governance and risk governance.Due to improper governance measures,insufficient governance capacity or a lack of governance re-sources,the governance risks of urban community have arisen,with daily life risks,risks of stability of community order and risks of loss of credibility as the major risk types.The governance risks of ur-ban community have brought a non-negligible impact on urban community governance,especially on the improvement of the quality of urban community governance.The formation of governance risks of urban community is closely related to factors such as excessive scale of urban community governance,the complexity of governance objects,the limitation of governance resources and the lack of governance norms.To improve the quality of urban community governance and to enhance urban residents'sense of life experience and governance effectiveness,it is necessary to classify governance risks of urban community,cultivate the awareness of governance community and promote overall governance.
