India has a great variety of languages,and unequal language status often leads to devi-ations from educational objectives.The intense competition between languages manifests itself in a strug-gle for national language,the competition between minority languages and state official languages,and between English and Hindi.Many Language conflicts have been reconciled through language policy.It is formulated through language selection in education,media,and business management etc.,and concerns many aspects as national identity,national unity,resources allocation,and how to use India's rich linguistic resources.
