Our life today is profoundly influenced by digital technology and, unavoidably and ob-viously,becomes more and more digitalized.Digital minimalism has quietly emerged among young people, the digital"natives",as a resistance to digital domination and discipline. They achieve"digital simplicity"by minimizing the use of digital functions, maximizing the disposal of digital as-sets,and disconnecting from digital life at the deepest level. However,it deserves our attention as how to deal with the relationship between the emotional expression of digital minimalists and the digital rights derived from the iterative development of digital technology in the current society.Digital mini-malists express their subjective rejection of digital rights through the abandonment of digital devices, the neglect of digital technology, and the critique of digital relationships.By analyzing digital mini-malists'motivation,their mode of co-existence and existential goals,we can find normative reasons to support young people's low digital desire life, thus justifying the rationality of digital minimalists'rejection of digital rights.
