On the basis of distinguishing between the general laws and their particular patterns,the key to understand and confirm the common features and characteristics of Chinese modernization lies in adhering to the basic principles of scientific socialism while breaking through and transcending the"Soviet model"of socialist development;in adhering to the general law of world modernization while breaking through and transcending the"Western model"of modernization;in following the general laws of the development of human society while breaking through and transcending the binary opposition between tradition and modernity;in achieving the dialectical unity in the theoretical logic of scientific socialism and the historical logic of the development of Chinese society.Chinese path to modernization offers an in-depth response to the question of the world modernization,expands the ways for developing countries to achieve modernization,profoundly changed the basic pattern and his-torical process of the world modernization movement and reflects the transcendent logic.The tran-scendent logic of Chinese modernization is the self-transcendent logic of Chinese model of socialist modernization and is a major achievement of the Communist Party of China in leading the social revolu-tion with its self-revolution.China has no intention of replacing,countering or subverting Western modernization,nor does it intend to impose its model upon the world,but rather respect the autonomy of each country in choosing its own path to modernization.
