The Chinese path to modernization is a modernized path that the CPC has consciously ad-hered to the guidance of Marxism and led the people of all ethnic groups to ex pl ore after a hundred years of struggle.It contains rich implications of building a community of life for man and nature,a community of the Chinese nation and a community with a shared future for mankind.The Chinese modernization is born out of the Chinese people's practice of exploring modernization and has its origin in the ecological civiliza-tion of China's finest traditional culture.It advocates and practices a community of life with harmonious coexistence between man and nature;stresses,with the common progress of the nation as the highest value to pursuit,the building of a community of the Chinese nation in"diversified unity";and points out,with the shared destiny and universal communication as the basic bond,the historical direction and inevitable trend of building a community with a shared future for mankind,thus being a transcendence of the Western community.The community idea of the Chinese modernization draws on the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation and is a contemporary inheritance and development of the true community of Marxism.
