Chinese Path to Modernization:Chinese Practice of the Kaftin Canyon Theory
The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee adopted the"Resolution of the Central Committee of the CPC on Further Deepening Reform Comprehensively to Advance Chi-nese Modernization"and confirms that the present and near future constitutes a critical period for our endeavor to build a great country and move toward national rejuvenation on all fronts through Chinese modernization.Chinese path to modernization,a socialist path to modernization explored by the Chi-nese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,avoids"the twists and turns"of capitalist modernization production,resolves the tension and opposition between man and nature,and outlines the modernization picture of harmonious coexistence.It draws on the beneficial achieve-ments of socialist modernization,absorbs the positive achievements of capitalist civilization,and cre-ates a new form of human civilization.It is not only based on the reality of China,but also rooted in the excellent traditional culture,thus breaking the dominant"Western-centered theory"and provi-ding a new choice for most developing countries to get out of the predicament of western moderniza-tion.Therefore,Chinese path to modernization is the innovative development of the eastern social theory and the practical confirmation of the Kaftin Canyon theory.
