Efficacy observation of long-needle puncturing at Zhongliao(BL 33)and Huiyang(BL 35)deeply and electroacupuncture on overactive bladder syndrome
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of long-needle puncturing BL33 and BL35 deeply and electroacupuncture on overactive bladder syndrome.Methods:60 cases of patients with overactive bladder syndrome were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated by electroacupuncture after long-needle puncturing bilateral Zhongliao(BL 33)and Huiyang(BL 35)deedly,while the control group was treated with oral Solifenacin.Both groups were treated for 8 weeks.Overactive bladder syndrome score(OABSS),International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire-short Form(ICIQ SF),Overactive Bladder Questionnaire-short Form(OAB-q SF),number of urination during the day,number of nocturia,number of urge urinary incontinence,number of urgent urination and urodynamic indexes of patients were evaluated in two groups before and after treatment respectively.Results:After treatment,OABSS score,ICIQ SF score,OAB-q SF score,number of urination during the day,number of nocturia,number of urge urinary incontinence and number of urgent urination were decreased compared with before treatment(P＜0.05);the treatment group was better than control group in the improvement of OABSS score,OAB-q SF score,umber of urination during the day,number of urge urinary incontinence and number of urgent urination,and the difference between two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,maximal bladder manometric capacity,aximal urinary flow rate and residual urine volume in urodynamic indexes were improved in two groups compared with before treatment,and the difference in the group was statistically significant(P＜0.05);the treatment group was better than control group in the improvement of residual urine volume and maximum urine flow rate(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Long-needle puncturing BL33 and BL35 deeply.can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with overactive bladder syndrome,and enhance the quality of life of patients.
