Efficacy observation of Poyu Xiaozheng formula on hysteromyoma with syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Poyu Xiaozheng decoction on hysteromyoma with syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis.Methods:60 cases of patients with hysteromyoma with syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with oral Guizhi Fuling capsules,while the treatment group was treated with Poyu Xiaozheng decoction,and both groups were treated for 12 weeks.The clinical efficacy,change of myoma volume before and after treatment,TCM syndrome score and changes of levels of serum sex hormone estradiol(E2),luteinizing hormone(LH)and follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)were compared between two groups.Results:After treatment,the total effective rate was 93.33％in the treatment group and 73.33％in the control group,and the comparative difference between two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment in two groups,the volume of myoma of patients was significantly reduced(P＜0.05);TCM syndrome score was reduced to some extent(P＜0.05);the levels of serum sex hormones E2,LH and FSH were significantly reduced(P＜0.05),and the above various indexes of treatment group were more obviously reduced than those of control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Poyu Xiaozheng decoction for treating hysteromyoma can obviously reduce the tumor volume,relieve clinical symptoms,improve the levels of serum sex hormones and enhance the clinical efficacy.
