Efficacy observation of ginger-separated moxibustion and warm needling for treating exopathogenic cold wind-affected facial nerve paralysis according to diferent meridian
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of ginger-separated moxibustion and warm needling for treating exopathogenic cold wind-affected facial nerve paralysis according to diferent meridian.Methods:67 cases of patients with exopathogenic cold wind-affected facial nerve paralysis were divided into two groups according to the principle of randomized control.34 cases of treatment group were treated with ginger-separated moxibustion and warm needling, and the acupoints were selected by syndrome differentiation and according to diferent meridian;while 33 cases of control group were treated with conventional needling. To treat 6 times was taken as a course of treatment. The two groups were treated for three courses. The changes of House-Brackmann(H-B)facial nerve function grading and TCM symptom score of patients were recorded in two groups before and after treatment. Results:The total effective rate was 94.11%in the treatment group and 78.12%in the control group, and the comparative difference between two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared H-B facial nerve function grading evaluation and TCM symptom score in the group before and after treatment as well as between two groups after treatment respectively, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Ginger-separated moxibustion and warm needling for treating exopathogenic cold wind-affected facial nerve paralysis by syndrome differentiation and according to diferent meridian can significantly improve the function of facial nerve and enhance the clinical efficacy.
