Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Huashi Yunpi decoction and mesalazine on ulcerative colitis with syndrome of spleen deficiency and dampness stagnancy.Methods:70 cases of patients with ulcerative colitis with syndrome of spleen deficiency and dampness stagnancy were selected and randomly divided into two groups,35 cases in each group.The control group was treated with oral mesalazine enteric-coated tablets,while the treatment group was treated plus with Huashi Yunpi decoction on the basis of control group.The course of treatment was 2 months.The changes of TCM syndrome scores(abdominal pain,diarrhea,tenesmus,bloody stool),C-reactive protein level and TCM clinical efficacy were compared between two groups before and after treatment.Results:The total effective rate of treatment group was 96.87％,which was significantly higher than 84.84％of control group(P＜0.05).The scores of clinical symptoms(abdominal pain,diarrhea,tenesmus,bloody stool)and the level of C-reactive protein were decreased in both groups(P＜0.05),and the treatment group was better than control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of Huashi Yunpi decoction and mesalazine on ulcerative colitis with syndrome of spleen deficiency and dampness stagnancy is better,which can obviously alleviate the symptoms of abdominal pain,diarrhea,tenesmus and bloody stool,and effectively reduce the level of C-reactive protein of inflammatory indexes.
